Eagle Drilling Services Spreads Wings to Northern Nevada
We’re proud to announce that Eagle Drilling Services (Eagle), a trusted sister company of GES, has officially expanded its operations to Northern Nevada with the opening of a new location in Mound House, just outside Carson City. This strategic move strengthens our ability to serve clients throughout the region with the same reliability and responsiveness that our Southern Nevada clients have come to expect.
With a growing fleet of drilling rigs and an experienced team, Eagle is now the only geotechnical and environmental drilling firm based in Northern Nevada positioning us to support a broad range of projects with speed and efficiency.
To introduce themselves to the engineering community, Eagle hosted the inaugural Eagle Drilling Academy, a half-day educational event designed to highlight the most commonly used drilling methods for geotechnical and environmental projects. Attendees gained practical insights into drilling selection, field execution, safety protocols, and permitting considerations. Special thanks to guest speaker Manny Fernandez from the Nevada Division of Water Resources, who provided valuable guidance on agency review and approval processes.
With Eagle’s expansion, our Reno-based GES team and clients now enjoy direct access to in-house drilling support bringing increased coordination, flexibility, and schedule optimization to projects throughout Northern Nevada.
