2025 was the year GES strengthened our team, invested in processes, equipment, and facilities, all to plan for our future. So where does that leave GES in 2026? We are taking the next step forward and achieving next-level success!

Last year was marked by a tremendous amount of investment.  Our backlog of work was significant, with many of the projects recognized as important improvements for our communities. With several projects delayed until the second half of the year, we were afforded the time to invest in our staff and our future.

Investments included building a strong team of coworkers who are committed to client success and are a good cultural fit with our firm in all four offices.  We spent significant time charting career paths for staff, illustrating their futures with the company and how those futures become realities.

We’ve already seen a return on this investment with surveyed staff satisfaction levels higher than the national average and our continued recognition as being one of the “Best Firms to Work For” by the Zweig Group.  Not resting on our laurels, we are continuing this focus in 2026 with the intent of making our already strong team even stronger.  Cultural fit and the necessary skill-set will remain important with all new employees, with a constant eye on growing our leadership from within.

Beyond our staff, we spent a tremendous amount of time updating our processes.  Committees poured over SOPs keeping the documents relevant but also looking for ways to improve, streamline, and modernize our procedures.

GES purchased new vehicles for our fleet and accredited our fourth laboratory in St. George.  Eagle Drilling Services purchased an additional track-mounted auger rig and expanded with a second facility located in the Carson City/Reno area.  Now Eagle Drilling Services is the only Nevada-based geotechnical and environmental focused drilling company of its kind with a permanent facility in Northern Nevada, giving local geotechnical and environmental firms the ability to keep their money in their home state and the potential of reducing mobilization costs.  Eagle’s presence in Northern Nevada is also a benefit for the GES office in Reno who can now enjoy a greater level of communication with our preferred drilling company.

While we continue to invest and plan for our future, 2026 is about execution.  Our clients should see an almost tangible leap forward as we deliver on our mission to make our clients more successful.  Smoother processes, more motivated staff, and the equipment and facilities to deliver. Get ready for Next-Level Success!
