Lab Accreditations help engineers, developers and contractors gain quality and consistent test results they can depend upon.

Thankfully there are industry-accepted guidelines, certifications, and training for laboratory personnel, their equipment, and the laboratories they work in. Accredited materials testing laboratories undergo rigorous third-party assessments including a thorough review of the laboratory’s quality management system. Training records are reviewed. Equipment is calibrated. Technicians are tested for competence. It can be arduous to get accredited and with regular reaccreditation required, a laboratory must always stay on top of its game.
With the recent accreditation of our Southern Utah lab, GES now has four accredited laboratories located in Las Vegas, Reno, and Mesquite, Nevada; and Hurricane, Utah. Developers from Toquerville, UT to Tonopah, NV have nationally recognized labs for testing. Engineers in southern Nevada’s Boulder City and northern Nevada’s Virginia City can count on reliable data. In each of these locations, and everywhere in between, GES’ clients can rest easily, knowing that their geotechnical and construction materials testing is being performed in our accredited labs in accordance with national standards.
Consistency and reliability are the foundations of a reliable geotechnical and materials lab. It is this foundation of consistency that allows our engineering team to be creative in our approaches and customize our recommendations in our effort to make our clients more successful.
